We're Pete's Place and we're here to help. 

We offer a free, safe place to stay in Traverse City, with confidential support while you work things out. 
 
Free transportation to school, work, and appointments. Call us anytime. We get it. And we're here for you.  
Why come to Pete's Place?

When it's too difficult to be at home or if you're struggling to find a safe place to stay, we're here for you. Third Level is available to provide non-judgmental, compassionate, and immediate support to you and your family.

Teens receive shelter, food, counseling, access to community resources, and support from a caring team of professionals. Give us a call today. We're here to answer any questions and explain how everything works.

A few goals of Pete's
  • Provide a safe, warm place to stay 

  • Offer a trusted person to talk to

  • Offer nutritious meals

  • Provide transportation to school, work, and appointments

  • Give a chance to work things out with your family

  • Help finishing school

  • Provide assistance with finding a job

  • Help obtaining documents (Michigan ID, birth certificate, etc)

  • Healthcare visits

  • Teach useful skills (cooking, budgeting, etc.)

  • Help you figure out where to go next

  • To be there for YOU

The first step to staying at Pete's Place is to give us a call. You can call us anytime ( we really mean anytime!) at 231-922-4800. Someone will talk to you and answer any questions you may have. 

It is best to call first, because someone may not be at Pete's Place (we might be taking someone to school, work, etc). If you come to Pete's and no one is there, there is a call box inside the front door.
