About the Event
The QPR mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. The signs of crisis are all around us. We believe that quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know.
Child and Family Services is offering this training to the community at a minimal cost, with the support of our partners at The Northern Angler, Real Estate One, the 2020 Cross Country Ride for Mental Health Awareness, and Hope Lives in Northern Michigan. Participants are encouraged to donate $15; you will receive a QPR booklet and certificate of completion. Please call the front desk at 231-946-8975 to pay the registration fee. Note about COVID: We will send an email at least one week before the training date if we decide to hold the training virtually instead of in person. For in person trainings, please be aware that participants will be asked to comply with Child and Family Services safety precautions (those will be communicated in an email before the training).
