For youth/young adults ages 12-20 who want to:
  • Increase self-awareness

  • Increase resilience (or learn what that means)

  • Learn about your strengths

  • Learn new ways to deal with stress

  • Create supportive social relationships

This is a FREE, 10 week, semi-structured program. Services are offered one-on-one through texting, phone calls, video calls, or in person at socially distanced approved locations.

YES! is a program intended to reduce and prevent substance use by focusing on Trauma Informed Care, uses Solution Focused Brief Therapy,  Motivational Interviewing, Positive Youth Development, and Animal Assisted Therapy (among other approaches) in a 10 session, semi-structured framework.

Youth and young adults ages 12-20 in Grand Traverse and Leelanau Coutnies can self-refer, or be referred by parents, coaches, teachers and school personnel, physicians or other concerned adults.

When services are complete (upon termination by the client or after 10 sessions) referrals for other mental health care and SUD prevention services will be made available when appropriate.
