OUR MISSION is to strengthen and nurture children and families by ensuring their safety and well being while promoting healing and growth through education, support, and advocacy.

Our Volunteers!
Child and Family Services is fortunate to have had two outstanding volunteers represent our organization at this year's SwingShift and the Stars Dance off for Charity--Carol Vernam and Mel Kiogima. THEY RAISED MORE THAN $46,000 FOR CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES!
Carol is a longtime friend of Child and Family Services through her volunteerism with Festival of Tables, the Women's Resource Center, and as hostess of her "Put It Out There" group of women in business. She has opened her heart and home to us and countless other charities and confides that she "works to give." We're so fortunate to have her in our corner!
Mel and his wife Nancy Kiogima were relative foster parents to their grandson at a difficult time in their family's life. They credit Child and Family Services' staff with helping them through their challenges and their grandson is now living at home and doing great. Mel is proud to give back to Child and Family Services as Carol's dance instructor, and Nancy has guided and cheered them both on!
